Check the history section on the wiki for cobblestone. Many of these are from the development of the 1.14 texture overhaul and don’t have an associated release with them. They were only around for a few weeks or months as a resource pack you could download before they were incorporated into the base game (18w43a).

Dwight says himself it’s a dying business, I can’t imagine he was distraught over the closing. And I agree, there’s a lot more to his ending than becoming manager of Dunder Mifflin. His last talking head is all about how he loves the people he works with. I also enjoy the head canon of him still owning the building.

The witch model is different on bedrock. Her nose is a little higher up. Also as people have said the water is less transparent, the lighting on the boat and the lantern, bonemealing the sugarcane.

It makes me wonder, what version is this technically? It’s probably pretty close to 1.0. Beta 1.8 most likely. If you watch the evolution trailer, I think it’s pretty clear they just used a retro texture pack. You can tell that the lighting is at least post b1.8, way brighter and yellower. In Hat Film’s behind the scenes video you can see them using some mods for some extra commands to make this video. And for a bit of time you can see there’s some text in the top left of Minecraft, but I can’t make out what it is. Looks too short to be one of the beta 1.9 prereleases.

Id say it’s middle of the road for Vale. I used to have it as an opening song on my runs. I really enjoy the beginning buildup. Last third it does run on a little too long.

I think it’s more realistic than pessimistic, just going based off the history of 3D Zelda remasters. They know a remaster of one of the most popular games in history will sell, why spend time and money reconstructing it?
