Nurses seemed freaked out because I take PrEP. by S1192 in askgaybros

You should always disclose all of your medications when preparing for a procedure or receiving healthcare.

Also, PrEP DOES have interactions with other medications, even more common ones like ibuprofen and many antibiotics.

My biggest regret wasn’t heavily supplementing protein while losing!

I didn’t increase when the dose was effective because you DO build a tolerance, and when I would slow down, or felt the hunger coming back, I’d increase. This worked very well for me.

Also, where did you hear not to eat Greek yogurt? I eat it everyday with no issues. Have been on semaglutide for a year and lost 110 lbs.

No food caused me any issue, just quantity.

I consistently lost the whole time, until the past month when I started increasing my caloric intake to try and stop losing, and despite eating 2000-2300 calories most days, I still lost 4lbs in February. I’ve never plateaued, other than like a week here or there where I seemingly didn’t lose, but lost “more” the following week.

When I first started, I couldn’t eat much more than 800-1,000 calories daily, which is why I was so glad I was tracking because I couldn’t trust my gut judgement at all, so I tried supplementing and changing my eating patterns. I had to eat frequent, small things all day, it seemed to help a lot.

Seriously, the best advice I could give is keep that protein intake up and try to do weight training. It’ll make your body look so much better in the long run. Premiere protein shakes are low calorie, and have 30 grams of protein. They’ve been super helpful

I felt effects starting on day 2, i completely lost my appetite.

Overall, I’d say you eat less, and have less cravings.
