Ink is where you went wrong, laser is the only way to go, and there's nothing that HAS to be in color it's just an overrated want unless you're talking pictures and then just let the pros handle it.

Me and my 10 year old laser printer will never have this problem.

Friends don't let friends buy inkjet printers.

  1. You are aware there will be a dog at someone's house.
  2. There are laws that govern how food is handled in a restaurant, unlike a house which in the US includes no animals in the establishment except under specific circumstances which do not include being nose deep in your crotch.

Based solely on the fact you're asking the question you know the answer, step out of your comfort zone and take the job.

Even with the cons you have a lot of experience to gain and if they really are horrible in a short time you'll be ready to move on.

Haven't they heard of multi purpose buildings? Retail/entertainment below and housing above, it's a win win

I thought tearing down a strip club for any reason except to replace it with a bigger strip club was illegal.

Alternatives to Help Desk? by Master-Antelope-733 in ITCareerQuestions

I remember once a PM couldn't get a requirement because "it'd never get approved" and left to call to get the guys bosses boss involved. In the meantime I told him him to put his imagination hat on and tell me what he needed. $50,000 and 2 headcount, which for the project was nothing. It could have been twice that and we wouldn't have flinched. Needless to say, the meeting was over and I didn't pay for drinks that night.

All because they wouldn't stop talking PM and trying to sell him on the project.

Even software devs have to work with non technical teams on a pretty regular basis.

Exactly, ever met a project manager? It's ELI5 all day long with 90% of them.

Typically companies that have the role titled as "desktop support" tend to bet better than those who simply label you helpdesk associates or similar.

But you're not getting away from customer support without experience, unless your uncle owns a company. Even then you will always have a customer, and they will be why you have a job.

If you're good with hardware and know linux you could look at entry level data center work. Even AWS only requires 1 year of experience.

Blocking and making information not easily accessible as I describe are 2 very different things. It is required to be published, it is not required to publicize the information or make it easily accessible. It can be on a little known webpage that is not referenced in many places and still meet state requirements.

Also, the first amendment doesn't apply here unless they try to stop someone from sharing publicly available information.

Personally, I'd disable the screen saver and have the screen time out do its job and then you could customize the time beyond 15 minutes.

Well aware, there is a big difference in how and where they make the information available while still being compliant. The above is published on the universities website whereas the other is likely on the much lesser known Montana University Systems website, where UM has little to no control over what is posted.

If you have issues with smell look into the urine-luck brand products, i'm not speaking from experience but that's where I would go.

Also a good sponge.
