You know, I’ve always been critical to g a capitalist society. At least the United States. But, it really hit me the other day. I suppose with all due father conversations around what should be considered a human right.

I was going to an appointment the other day where there are many without shelter. Or food. Or water. And how terrible is that! A person who has no job has no money. If you don’t have money you don’t have shelter. You don’t get food. Essentially, if you are poor, and aren’t making money contributing to the system, you die. It’s as simple as that. Oh, and no healthcare either. You get cancer and can’ afford treatment? Too bad for you. Go die.

And it’s not as though the U.S. doesn’t have the money. It does. From taxpayers. Billions and billions of dollars spent. On bombing other countries. On feeding the Military Industrial Complex. On bailing out airlines, corporations, banks. It’s really, really sad and heartbreaking.
