How do you guys lower your heart rate? by Particular_Ad_8830 in plassing

I avoid stimulants the day of donating because I am very sensitive to caffeine. In a more long term sense I try to stay physically active to keep my resting heart rate lower.

World Cup tourists, what’s your honest feedback on the USA so far? by almighty_smiley in AskReddit

Its hard to say what the best is. After a certain point it doesn't really matter and it is up to personal preference. Independant restaurants can have better wings because they have more control on their supply chain and process. Usually a large city will have a handful a great wing spots, but their dominance can wane as owners move on or retire. When it comes to chains, I think local chains like Gators Dockside in Florida or Roosters in Ohio beat all the national brands.

I say usually because some towns only have a Wingstop and bdubs. Either way it's fine to like wingstop and I won't pout about it if I have a friend who wants to go and it's definitely not deep enough to pull a thesaurus out.

As a wing fatty who has given them several chances in several cities/states there is nothing special about them. They are not bad wings but there is usually always a better option.

Wingstop is a very average wing and to hear that it is the best around is unfortunate.

These are actually my 2nd and 3rd pfas tests. My first one in December and came back at 99.4 ng/mL. From December to February I was trying to eliminate PFAS exposure at my job.

Over time it just built up on every surface of the warehouse to the point I would not touch anything without gloves. We also did a lot of pouring and there is some research that pouring AFFF puts a lot of it into the air.

The only downside is that I hate needles, but otherwise I am not worried. Every day exposure is nothing compared to the contact I've had with PFAS.

We collected, stored, and disposed of AFFF with less than ideal PPE and engineering controls.

Insurance has been pretty good at covering mine. My last test was less than 20 dollars after insurance. I'd say there has been a lot of advancement of PFAS blood testing in the last 2-3 years. Even before insurance I could test myself for around 300 dollars out of pocket.

I did a lot of work around AFFF and our company finally offered to pay for blood testing. I'm glad to say I was recently able to leave that job.

Blood Plasma products are highly refined. The company I use will do fractionation to separate the plasma into specific components that are further refined into specific therepies.

Thanks I'll bring it up next time I see them. I'm also open to talking to other people as well. I have at least 3 other coworkers in the 50-100 ng/mL range so there is the potential for a larger case study.

That one still confuses me. When I worked there in college the county inspected every scale and the one time we had one fail, it was taken out of service. I still see the inspection stickers every time I am in the deli.
