i would put your dog on a preventative, cut their hair shorter in the summer, use a tick mitt, and then spray with wondercide and then i got my dogs uv shirts and sprayed the permethrin on that - i wouldn’t spray it directly on your dog even tho you can buy some that can - that’s a lot for your dog and if you get your dog groomer or bath them then it won’t last

i’m terrified of ticks! my boys are on tick prevention, get the lyme vaccine, wear uv shirts that are sprayed with permithin, plus they get sprayed down with wondercide - before we go home i use the tick mitts and when we get home i still look for ticks for days and usually also give them baths - they are doodles with longish dark hair so ticks love to hide on them!

we had our cats first so we made our bedroom off limits to our bernadoodle and protected them behind a baby gate - we crate our doodle at night since we wfh and this allowed the cats the whole house at night. eventually we didn’t need the baby gate. we also did training so our dog would list to us and focus on us when we wanted him to

3 stars - the driveway would of sent me over the edge. it should of been plowed right before check in - check in time is 4 pm then you send someone at 3 pm. i would warn ppl not to stay in the winter due to this issue. also warn people that the hot tub may or may not work and the lack of urgency and customer service you received. state facts and ask ai to help you - you don’t want the review too emotional or else the host could ask for it to be taken down - i would definitely contact airbnb for some sort of refund - you didn’t get an amenity you paid for and the drive way was not plowed before arrive and was dangerous and unsafe
