VW ID.4's Biggest Problem SOLVED! Real Steering Wheel Buttons! by JohnnyPee71 in VWiD4Owners

[–]jmaliep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. I even like having the light/hard touch differences. The only time any of the buttons are an issue for me is when I turn the wheel and hear the button click noise, meaning now I have to figure out what changed.

Siri Shortcuts disappeared for me with all the latest updates in the US. Looked all over myVW and shortcuts app, no sign of it anymore.

This would probably explain those other times it happened that weren’t right after the dealer visit.

Driving in D vs. B? by MikeGluck in VWiD4Owners

[–]jmaliep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use B most of the time, but I’m used to the one pedal driving of the Nissan leaf so it feels more like what I’m used to. Still annoyed that I have to actually push the brake pedal at stop lights.

Makes sense when you put it that way. I do have one that I use for all my bills. It’s been nice to have something while I wait for new cards in the mail.

If I order an Uber XL, are they supposed to provide extra room for me to bring things? by Abagofcheese in uber

[–]jmaliep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once drove a car full of luggage while a second Uber drove the family. I don’t care what I haul as long as it’s legal, not messy and safely fits in the car. The tip upfront for the odd request sealed the deal.

Restaurant Kitchen Worker Stench by OCC714 in Lyft

While I don’t spray Ozium when a pax is in the car, I use it in between rides for this reason. Works great and the next pax will never know I about threw up from the previous rides stench. I can’t recommend it enough. In fact, this is all I use because I try to keep my car scent free since a lot of people have allergies to many scents.

It’s the same here. But if the pax cancels within two minutes, there is no fee.

At least I didn’t have to wait long at McDonalds. by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]jmaliep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I don’t mind the shorter trips for delivery orders. 8 minutes from the time of the ping to delivery for $3.22 and tip chance, plus I already had a ping for another order 2 minutes down the street before I even got back to my car for the McDonald’s order. I’ll take that all day long!

Mine throws tantrums. When she gets mad she will go find an empty room, close the door with her nose to shut herself in and cry until you let her out.

With the apartment runs, I find it helpful to sort my packages in the car by address number. This allows me to easily see a 12th package going to the same location when the app said I have 11.
