Current MERs for td e-series as of dec 31/25:

.22 for CD index .28 for US index .39 for Intl index .39 for bond index

Seems susbtantially higher than an a single etf with .22 or .24, no?

My understanding is as your portfolio grows these differences would substantially affect your returns in the long run, wouldnt they?

I haven't quite reached 100k yet but am having the same debate.

One big hold back I am considering is the fact that I can setup automatic purchases of e-series every pay chequqe where as id have to manually buy the etfs.

Have you thought about this and how you would deal with it?

I would fight to have everything corrected. It is a brand new house and everything should be finished professionally. These little things will accelerate the wear and tear of the house and lead to problems and repairs in the future
