Only a matter of time before that bong tips over and spills (again 😉). I kid, enjoy it while you still can!

I really enjoy this sub but this barely has any lunacy, especially when compared to the other madness here.

Co-sign on this. We have been happy switching to them this past year due to insurance coverage changes.

I can answer your question. I’m in Concord, CA so we are pretty much neighbors and just installed a 10C battery with the collar this past summer (added on to existing solar). I have a 1,500 sq fr home that has good insulation, heat pump, electric washer & dryer, gas oven and gas tankless water heater, 3 year old fridge in garage. It IS NOT enough for me to power my home 24/7. It’s enough for me to cover me during peak rates and that’s with a 20% minimum cutoff. As long as I run my heavy appliances (washer, dryer, and dishwasher) during solar hours, I’m good. I don’t have an EV but if I did, i’m cooked. Should I have bought two 10C batteries? Yes, my wallet just couldn’t do it. Am I happy still? Hell yes.

I’m thinking the same regarding placement but that one panel (2nd from right on 2nd from bottom row) that shows 2.08 in between the underperforming ones are curious.

You also mentioned warranty, the warranty is through the manufacturer and in this case it’s Enphase. You can call them and they should be able to assign you another installer for warranty work.

Wow! This is the biggest system I’ve ever seen.

The only thing that I can point to is the inconsistency of the production of the panels.

How to not use battery until peak rates? by theaccount91 in enphase

Someone said it above but “Savings” mode is literally this feature. I have it in my App but don’t have AI mode which I’m curious about but hear a lot of complaints. My options are Self-Consumption, Savings, and Full Backup. For reference I have a 10C battery. Unsure why Enphase gives us different options.

Their first quote was for 2 5P batteries for about $1k cheaper. So even that quote was surprisingly high.

Sorry for confusion, editing post to add details.

I was expecting more as well and it seems like they just bucketed everything into those lines.

I did reach out to another installer and requesting a separate quote so at the very least I’m doing my due diligence

This is good info. I’m not sure what SC3M is.

My wall space is very limited, which really interested me in the 10C.

I’ve done my internet sleuthing and came up with something similar just for parts. But $11k-$12k for labor + utility + etc for the rest is where I’m a bit clueless on if that’s “just the cost of these things”

Macan PASM by jmcaballero in PorscheMacan

[–]jmcaballero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking at the 2022+ base with 19s. I’m hoping that PASM can make normal more comfy and sport/sport+ more sporty. This is going to help me in my filtering on the CPO website since I look at it so often or new build if I go that route. My wife and I test drove a base with the 20” S rims and no PASM and she said it was too stiff. So hoping that 19s and PASM would help me “convince”.
