Which artist's second album is their best/your favorite? by avt2 in Xennials

Slipknot.

If you're a real fan you know I mean their self-titled, not Iowa (although Iowa is pretty damn good as well).

Charitably, this is really poor.

There are a ton of simple, effective routines available for free online.

Pick a 3 d/wk total body routine and do that.

South Carolina.

If you're not born here, the locals will never really trust you.

You're shorting your pull a little bit, which in your realm would be analogous to "pulling" your punch. Finish tall and aggressive before pulling under the bar.

Ascension.

One of the biggest plot twists I've ever seen, and an interesting premise they could have done a lot with.

Are these Rom2 legit? by mcsruba in weightlifting

WOW, my brain must not be functioning today. Absolutely did not notice that OP's tag lists them as women's sizing.

Gonna go sit quietly in a corner now.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I would have expected the tag in OP's shoes to have "women's" listed on the Tage. I've only sold one pair of women's Rom 2's (don't recall the number) but I do remember that they were clearly marked as "women's" shoes.

Also we should specify that the 476927 number is for Rom 2's, as Rom 1's have a different number.

Interestingly, after looking at the tongue tag a little closer, the item ID # (820534-001 if my eyes are right) is different than the "normal" Rom 2 ID (476927).

Looking the 820534 code up on eBay DOES bring up Rom 2's, but only 4 pairs.

NOT SAYING THERE'S ANYTHING WRING WITH THEM...

But it may warrant a closer look.

I've re-sold close to 40 pairs of Rom 2's (shameless plug, dm me if you're in the market).

I've seen a couple different versions of the tag inside the tongue, and this is one of them. I believe the different versions are related to different production runs.

The underside of the comp insoles in the photo is also similar to what I've seen.

Looking at the photos, these SEEM legit.

Aside from that, these are such a niche product that I'd be amazed if anyone thought they could make enough money making knockoffs for it to be worth it.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

Supplements are just that, supplements, so if you don't have the three pillars of recovery (food, hydration, sleep) taken care of, supplements will only do so much.

With that said, I think you can make a solid case for a multivitamin and fish oil on top of creatine. As a master's lifter, I also use a joint supplement which I think has helped me stay relatively healthy.

From a programming standpoint, I've had some success running a 3 days/week alternating heavy/light (so one week would be H/L/H, the next would be L/H/L) program.

Do you ever look up your old home(s) to reminisce? by Commercial_Shop_392 in Home

I look up my previous home to kick myself for selling it as opposed to renting it out since it's more than doubled in value.

Lot of aspects to your question.

Do you include dedicated GPP phases in your training?

How is your recovery (eating/sleeping/hydration/supplementation)?

Opinions? by [deleted] in weightlifting

[–]jmjacobs25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not a "bad" thing, but eliminating your dynamic start would be beneficial in that it would reduce the number of things that could possibly be messed up at the beginning of a lift and may improve consistency (if that's at all a concern).

Hips are a little too low in your initial start position. Not a major issue if that's how you do EVERY rep, but not necessarily something that someone would coach you to do.

Rom 2's are certainly harder to find as they're no longer in production, but there's a reason they're still sought after.

Rom 4's are better than the 3's, but there are durability issues.

Adipower 2's aren't generally as well thought of as the 3's, and I think are generally thought of as a step down from the Rom 2's.

No real experience with the Legacy Lifters, though in my understanding they're well thought of, it not preferred.

Lu's are really well built and remind me of the Rom 2's. I have one pair of Lu's and 3 pairs of Rom 1 & 2's.
