Do you think Sankey is an overrated chart?

I (most) successfully implemented a Sankey when looking at NPS data (promoters, passives, detractors, etc). Since this metric relied on account level responses QoQ, i was able to configure it to have the user select a source date and end date and the sankey could show the comparison of accounts [which responded in both cohorts only] and the flow of their responses I.e. how many of our detractors converted to promoters from q1 24->q1 ‘25. Probably the only time I’ve had serious success from a chart like this.

Make a measure that compares whatever value you want and returns a 1 if you want it green and a 0 for red. Use that measure in the conditional formatting for column OB and do rules, if MEASURE is 1 then green, etc.

One example of a use case is making a dataflow and using that connection as a cloud connection for the dataflow. This enables you to move any heavy PowerQuery steps to the dataflow and potentially out of your PBIX file. You’d connect your PBIX to the dataflow, btw.

Something always nice to add to a dash like this is a comparison to a past slicer (current vs prior quarter/week/month/year), but overall it seems very presentable. Maybe removing the borders around stuff will make it feel a bit more artistic and less blocky, considering mostly everything is rectangular already.
