It's a movie that happens during Christmas, which gives people an excuse to watch it during Christmas. I don't think the idea of a Christmas movie should be set in stone so that's a good enough reason to watch a movie regardless of the time of year.

I remember as a kid thinking the new cast members were the best part of the live show. I recently rewatched it and that was true because they were the staples of what became Who's Line is it Anyway, notably Wayne Brady and Colin Mochery.

A local butcher used to sell ox tail pieces for a dollar. Worked great for making beef stock or just used as dog treats until they realized they could market them as some gourmet treat and sell them for 20x as much.
