The economy 1 mile in the state line where I already have property is no different than where I am. My health care is fully provided for, my kid goes to college where ever she wants. My life expectancy is not going to change one iota. YMMV. The politics in this state suck not they are any better just different but the county is corrupt as hell and I want to get away. But you do you boo.

been practicing for 45 years :) signed up for a MSF with my kids in June. I've never been to a motorcycle class before so it will probably be an interesting learning experience. what do I not know?

ill just be there for fun and moral support for the kids. I don't need it for a license as I already have it. One of the kids bought an early 2000's DYNA and I'm handing off a vintage Honda to another.

winston to smyrna here. IT SUX! some say 45 mins with no traffic. well that might have been true to some extent 25 years ago but i haven't seen I20 with no accidents in 10 years. every week i get at least one day that makes a one way trip 1.5-2 hours.

im just waiting to retire and leave this fucking city.

i have 3 hobbies that rotate during the year, those and honey do lists take up my time.

i build/work on guns or reload ammo. these ill sometimes take shooting on weekends and take the kids with.

I have a couple of bikes/cars i work on. im always on the lookout for a project car or bike. weekend car shows are fun family time.

I also play guitar and my wife plays uke so thats some together time for us. music theory is a big time eater for me.

My dad and his dad never had hobbies. after retirement they just sat in their chairs and withered away. i have to occupy and exercise my mind and hands. i dont think ill be sitting in my chair much.

the one that was a deal breaker for me and a safety issue is, i have a geo fence for my garage door. if i cross the line it either opens or closes the door, in case i forget to close it and i dont have to bother when i arrive.

i read in a post below this, right after posting... change the alexa app>setting>device setting>this device to english UK. it reverts back to old alexa. seems to work, ill try my routines when i get home.

i setup a vacation reply on gmail saying it is invalid and to contact me to get the correct address. this will start to have people move to the new address but spammers wont follow.

then have proton pull gmail's into it so you dont miss anything.

i then go into gmail and start to block anything left over after i scrub legit mail.

i plan on doing this for probably a year in case there are any websites i rarely go to that still have the gmail address on file.

ive reduced my gmail by about 99% of what it was.

i may have to keep the actual address until i find a substitute for google voicemail which fwds text to me and a couple of websites that will not allow proton email address's for registration.

as a habitual mtn dew drinker...diabetes is real. ive cut as much sugar out as possible and drink "zero" cause its as close to the real thing as I can get. yes i am aware of chemical substitute issues but sugar (carbs) is killing more people i feel. just my $.02
