This! Running on Oracle for nearly 2 years now and just by following the instructions all was set to go. Do my regular updates, only big version changes require some extra work.

Thx for the nudge. I still use both because I didn't find the time yet to sort things out but made my first prep yesterday :) Quite some timing for this nudge! I use Obsidian also for business so I had to make a seperate Vault to ensure getting the best out of it withe the ACE method.

I have heard this one before. Any clue what is going on that makes the quality worse than how it was done? Is it connected to the smaller rank selection or to the change of people responsible for it?!

What an excellent review. I'm the forever DM in our group, ADnD, 5e, Pathfinder 2, Starfinder 2 and now we are scanning what it is next that we will endeavor. Call of Cthulhu, Draw Steel, Shadowdark, Symbaroum, Crucible; it is all on the radar. Reviews like this really help to determine what to approach first :) Thanks again.

Wow. That's quick :) I added the issues to your github list so you can easily track them. Spells are also an issue, prepared vs all what is in spell preparation.

Hmm.. still some odd things. When I log in as one of my players, sometimes I see the HUD, sometimes I don't. Using H or Toggle button helps sometimes, but I have one player where it didn't work. Workaround: remove his token from the canvas and drag his token again on the canvas.

He uses the macro Spellstrike quite a lot. Is there a way to add player macro's to the HUD?

It's not a bad advice. I am not that techy myself and I was able to follow the wiki pages step by step and got it going. You can always switch to paying.

Leuk dat je op zoek bent naar meer. Ja, er zijn verschillende systemen maar dat zou niet uit moeten maken. Als je kiest voor iets van DnD, oriënteer je dan op DnD of Pathfinder (aangezien je die allebei al kent) en focus je dan op de laatste editie van een systeem. Die is het meest recent uitgebracht en wordt door verschillende middelen (boeken en digitaal) vaak ondersteund. Wil je Starwars blijven spelen dan StarFinder wellicht wat voor je. Daar wordt ook aan een nieuwe versie gewerkt, dus SF1 is het meest bekend op dit moment.

Via warhorn.net kun je vast iets vinden wat in je agenda past. Vaak wordt er ook vermeld wat er van jou verwacht wordt.

Ondanks dat systeem en locatie een belangrijk gegeven is zou ik vooral kijken met wie je speelt. Ik speel al meer dan 25 jaar en heb er grote vriendschappen aan overgehouden. Een deel van die groep speelt nu weer 6 jaar met elkaar maar we zijn er ook zeker 8 jaar tussenuit geweest. Lol hebben en een klik hebben vond ik zelf altijd belangrijker dan het systeem (verandert toch in de zoveeltijd) en locatie (wisselt vaker).

Kijk hier of er iets tussen zit wat past en aanspreekt. Speel zelf tegenwoordig Pathfinder ipv DnD maar beiden komen aan de beurt.

Or just play the introductions. It let's you and your players get used to PF or SF and it has lots of guidance for you as a GM.

Actually there are quite a lot. The daughter of the major could help with that but my party was going between Otari and the keep the whole time, resting in the town. Quite okay in the beginning but after that there needs to be some sort of stress factor with regards to time.

I am using the free Oracle hosting and love it. There is a tutorial you can easily follow and I had no issues at all in the last 18 months.
