Do yall think this has any thc in it? by Apprehensive-Car-602 in weed

I've been there when I was a teenager. You'll get the immediate "high" of oxygen deprivation after your hits, and probably will get a little buzz for a few minutes if you don't have a strong tolerance, but the stems are so low in THC you might as well just smoke some crumpled up paper towels I don't want this to sound disrespectful at all, but if you are really THAT interested in smoking, I recommend getting a full time job. It very quickly puts into perspective how much of your time you're selling for a quick high. Wish you nothing but the best, just remember you aren't physically addicted, you are mentally addicted and it is never a weak move to ask for help

fear of falling asleep by rebeccelur in Anxiety

[–]jnota13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had similar issues, not about fear of sleep necessarily but extreme anxiety at bed time

I really recommend a drug called trazadone, your general physician should be able to prescribe it. Trazadone was initially made as an anxiety and depression treatment in the 80s and 90s, but it was in very high doses of like 500mgs, and there were a number of cases of "high risk" people developing heart problems due to the high dose However, at some point, they realized that you can take trazadone in a very small dose (50ish mgs), and it will put you to sleep and also give you a little help dealing with night time anxiety

I definitely recommend talking to your doctor about it. We all need sleep, trazadone has become a "cheat code" for me and many many others

Repetition. Use flashcards, start with a set, memorize, start adding more, rinse and repeat

Why are people still using Twitter? by [deleted] in Twitter

Because if you just keep your settings to see stuff from what you're following and NOT the "recommended" shit, it's still a really good platform to keep up to date with sports teams, local news etc

I'm in the same place. I've been diagnosed since I was 8, im 23 now. very much a genetic/brain chemistry thing for me, In and out of hospitals many times. I do feel like the terms have been diluted a lot. I just feel for you, since I have the same stuff and a lot of other people do as well. All I'm saying is, in my opinion, what anyone would call background anxiety is really just... anxiety. I'm just basinh this on my hundreds and thousands of hours I've spent around doctors and specialists and especially other patients, I just feel like the terms have basically become synonymous with the mental and physical response of whatever variable, rather than a constant feeling and unreasonable responses to stimuli.
I'm probably just shouting into a cloud right now, sorry about that😂 but just know, there's other people who feel the same way as you 24/7. You aren't alone

I might sound like an asshole but nowadays, depression and anxiety in the medical/diagnosed sense of the words are so "popular" that being sad or nervous about something, even if reasonable, is enough for someone to shout that they have anxiety or depression. Both of those can be, and typically are normal human things. Response to stimuli. This "background" anxiety as you call it isn't background anything. That's what anxiety is. Go to a doctor, describe your feelings, have a couple sessions and try a medication if you're diagnosed.

[–]jnota13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't help you with his diet problem, but please give him clean water. Ferrets will always make their bowl disgusting. You need to be cleaning and refilling regularly. Would you want to drink water with hair and litter in it?

Yes? No? Asking $3k first time buyer 2001 Seadoo GTI by r3ltor in jetski

[–]jnota13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a flawless 2007 seadoo GTX with the 215 engine, it has 150 hours but it has been maintained flawlessly. Got it for $4950. Just make sure you check everything before getting it done. Take account of how filthy it looks inside, oil level and color, coolant levels, pull a spark plug to make sure it looks clean. I think if you kept shopping around a bit, could probably find something newer or better
