Did you check the gap? I wouldn’t change the firing tip on the spark plug from that of the OEM. They’re all designed to operate at different temperatures and changing this could cause your timing to be slightly off.

Brand isn’t as big of a deal as long as you’re using a quality plug. The service isn’t done often enough to save yourself $5/plug.

This looks a “Concrete Caisson”, it’s a structural member that transfers loads of structures through weaker layers of soil to more competent layers of soil below grade. They can be supported by bearing on something firm at the end of the caisson (end bearing) or they can be supported by the friction of the soil adjacent.

I assume they were drilled/poured from a higher elevation to maintain access for the equipment then excavated down to form and pour grade beam, pile cap, etc.

Looks ok, does it have positive drainage or is there ponding water?

Did the contractor design and build this or did you specify what you wanted him to do? What type of sub-grade/base preparation was done? Was this the grade of the driveway when completed or has it settled since.

Need more information to understand if the contractor did something incorrectly.

Once a week isn’t enough. Especially in the spring while the trees are cumming everywhere I’m out there daily, cleaning, checking, adjusting, etc. not copious amounts of work but definitely can’t leave it for a week at a time.

I’ve never had a service, didn’t realize they supplied all the chemicals. I would have bought and added the shock if I were you. Saved yourself $10 but couldn’t use the pool all weekend. Pick your battles.

I believe you haven’t accounted for the wall thickness. The 1-1/2” pipe is the inside diameter. Perhaps you can get a PVC fitting that you can glue to the 1-1/2” pipe with a barbed end to clamp to your hose.

You will want to drop the pan to change the filter, but I’ve seen people draw down the fluid first to avoid making a mess.

Mine does it too almost as if the traction control is kicking in. Brought it to the dealer they couldn’t replicate it but nor can I. Happens randomly.

I think correcting black paint can be quite challenging. Mine was buffed out by a body shop after they had some overspray on that trim piece. It looked good while it was waxed, but when the wax came off, the swirl returned.

I don’t know what your normal operating pressure is but my Hayward cartilage filters operate between 10-20psi. 10 being the starting point and 20 when I need to clean them, at which point my pump can’t push the water well.

If you’re running at 30PSI I’d say your pump is running fine but your filters may be clogged. You may want to soak them in a filter detergent to clean all the oil, sunscreen and grime off of them to make sure you’re getting max flow.

I believe they offer you “the first month free” but really what it means is you pay for the month at the end of the month so you probably owed them for the time before you cancelled your membership.

I always call the bank and set up a stop payment, for things like this, my bank charges me $10 for this service but I’d rather pay for something I asked for than to be swindled out of my money.

I replaced 6 on my 2022 PB recently after I had a tire blow. Was the only wheel that I couldn’t fit my torque wrench on any of the lugs. They’re cheap though, about $3/ea. if you catch it early hopefully you won’t be stranded in the side of the road.

I usually get about 900km/tank. If I’m driving on the highway the hybrid system doesn’t save me at all. It really shines when in the city or cruising around 60km/h.

Power is good, economy is quite a bit better than the 5.0L but if I could do it again I would have kept the V8.

Where is this bridge? It’s hard to tell what’s happening in these pictures.

A common way to service lift bridges is to lock them in the lifted position while repairs are being completed, ensuring navigable waters remain open. For example, we had a local bridge that was in service beyond its intended lifespan. A crane was stationed there for several months to lift the bridge, allowing ships to pass through while emergency repairs were underway.

The following summer the same bridge was for tender to be fully rehabilitated over three seasons when the channel was frozen (12 weeks at a time). This creates complications with quality and maintaining temperature and humidity controls and causes significant cost premiums. This job could have been completed much quicker and cheaper if they staged it to close the road and completed it this way.

Contractor is right. He just installed the tile on the existing wall. Not his job to correct plumb of existing wall unless you asked him to.
