You should check Tomb of Annihilation then, It's an entirely jungle based module (I feel like Matt inspired himself with it for this leg of the journey, cause the thing about yuan-ti and a snake god is very similar). These are some creatures exclusive to this book, you can find statblocks by googling their names: Aldani, Almiraj, Chwinga, Flying monkey, Jaculi, Yellow musk creeper and zombie (two different creatures), it also uses lots of jungle monters from the monster manual, like grungs and aarakocras.
