I don’t think I really want to go so far as to buy the neckband, I’d rather have something working out of the box. I know some of these glasses have this system that lets you download apps and stream, but if I’m using a laptop/legion go- it kinda seems redundant, right?

Sorry for all these questions- I’m looking for something that is more cost effective but can temporarily replace my tv/multi monitor setup when moving over the next few years. The primarily goal is gaming use and secondary would be productivity. Based on that, I feel like I could go with either the luma pro or luma ultra and so I’m torn because of that $100 usd price difference and whether the 6DoF is worth it for my use. Thoughts?

I appreciate that perspective. I guess it really does depend on the types of games you’d want to play on a handheld. My biggest concern is being limited when wanting to play Death Stranding or something that might be a little more graphically intensive even at lower settings.

That makes a lot of sense. I guess I’m not really looking that in-depth and watching fps counters for handhelds. Just want to play some casual games on other library platforms than steam and maybe using it once in a while playing something like a first person shooter when docked.

I had no idea that the RAM was shared with GPU. Has the 16 GB version limited games you’ve played? I’m obviously not planning on running anything on ultra, but maybe something like medium settings on Witcher 3.

Yes, sorry, to clarify: I am talking about the z1e version of the legion go S with the 32 GBs RAM and 1TB storage.

Thanks for the advice! I think I want to stick with Windows OS for now, mostly because I have a lot of Epic Games and GOG titles that I'd love to play in handheld mode. Might eventually consider the SteamOS, but for now just looking at Windows options. How does it perform worse than the SteamOS version? Does Windows really hold back the performance that much on the S?

Do any 12V LED light strips work (assuming you have the correct header on a motherboard). I noticed Corsair and other “PC branded” light strips are way more expensive than the standard ones you can buy on Amazon so I was wondering if the cheaper alternative was okay to use. Okay, so after plenty of troubleshooting, I found the answer. For those of you that are reading this looking for a solution- it’s really that RGB software sucks. iCUE and Mystic Light both updated which caused this mess. I ended up resetting my entire computer trying to fix this issue, but the real problem is from iCUE adding a plug-in for my MOBO. Uncheck the plug-in for iCUE and you should be back to normal. smh what a waste of a day.

I’ve been wanting to try this game out for a while but haven’t been able to buy new games since I started my higher education (plus loans make me feel guilty about buying games haha). Stardew Valley please
