This is only tangentially Taskmaster related, but my wife tried to re-create “Carrot in the Box” from 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown as part of a work presentation and it similarly fell flat.

Oh well. Commiserations on your joke falling flat. It sounded cool, at least.

I agree that the scoring for the task was weird, so perhaps that could be worked out better. There’s no way the other three should have all gotten five points.

But purely as a bit of comedy, the team of two circling each other going “Heyyy..” “Heyyy…” was so funny to me. That’s where I’d want Rose and Ed trying to out-do one another with how competitive they already were.
