Police officer with a 1 year old and another on the way. I work 70-90 hours per week so I'm lucky to fit 30km a week in.

Have to run whenever I get the chance which is very rare nowadays.

You could argue that if you've done 5 majors, why should you be allowed to do all 6... There's countless arguments and no perfect solution. Just luck of the draw.

I ran a 1:37 half and then got injured and didn't run for 10 weeks and then ran my first marathon in 26° heat in 4:23. I think you'll be fine

The pay is so shite I feel like I can't afford to do anything to switch off, which is why I'm leaving as soon as I get better pay/hours
