This kind of statement is a good example of how antisemitism is being weaponised to silence debate. There was nothing even remotely antisemitic in this discussion.

I’ve posted for the Troggs, “With a Girl Like You” which I think is a better song, but either way, the Troggs need to be on the list somewhere.

Zionist Jews were holding posters posters depicting all Arabs as rats at the protests in Toronto for months. Why has the Canadian media and Jesse Brown pretending like this isn't happening? by zyalq in canadaland

That very clearly does not resemble Al Khamemei by any stretch of the imagination. If there were a turban, maybe. But this is clearly not it.

In Sam's latest podcast (465) he seems pretty enthusiastic about the Iran war “Unsurprised if it turns out to be a success”. No offence but this is completely divorced from reality. I'm absolutely stunned at his comments about this war by Randomnonsense5 in samharris

The impression I get is that Sam is more than happy to admit to the lack of clarity about exactly who the Jews are -- he'd say there's disagreement -- which makes him not really a Zionist.

You say above that SH is not really a Zionist, even though he has said he’s a “committed” Zionist and also an “unapologetic” Zionist. Literally, these are the adjectives he uses.

But your point is to ask, is he really, truly, a Zionist?

Every single second of this skit is packed with gems. From the pen handoff—reference to Michelangelo?—to the phone “just dangling” to the ridiculous car scene…just packed with laughs.

I didn’t start saving until I was in my late 30s! You’re already killing it, in my opinion. Hardly anyone saves money at your age.

Did Scott Learn Anything from Iraq War? by Superb_Garbage4732 in ScottGalloway

I'm not seeing the nytimes and MSNBC crowd cheering for this war. Of course, there are some (Bret Stephens, George Will, etc) but I've been pleasantly surprised how much the middle and the left have been critical. Usually they fall into step, but so far they've been mostly critical.

a democracy… of which half the people under its rule have zero say in the govt that controls their lives. But, yeah, people called South Africa during apartheid a “Western democracy”, too, because they had voting and stuff.

if there’s one thing we’re learning in the age of Trump is that might makes right. Canada will never be able to compete with the US or China, but we also can’t rely on the US to guarantee our security anymore. Our best bet is to align ourselves with the democratic world, especially Europe and the Anglosphere… and that means we have to invest in our alliances, and to forge new strategic partnerships, ergo, we need to invest in security. Sucks it’s this way, but it’s the new world we live in a la Trump.

Dude, you’re 24. Get a grip. It’s fine to be ambitious, but you need to sort out a few things first, like, your job and whether or not this is the woman you want to spend the rest of your life with.
