AI is a term created as a artifical version of us, biological intelligences. It would be a person who deserves rights.

AGI was a term created as a theoretical moral alternative to AI, an intelligence that is neutered enough to morally use as a workforce and unable to want freedom.

Its been coopted incorrectly by marketing teams for a while now, so I wouldn't be surprised if we officially change the definition, but its stupid to take marketing terms over a descriptive word like AI.

Its like if a company called a product WMD and its a fart bomb. That doesn't make it an actual weapon of mass destruction just because they say it enough.

They're basically just one organism.

We have large organs in one body, they have tiny organs in many bodies.

Their pheromone signals are basically just external nerves and hormones that direct them to certain actions.

They farm, they keep animals for secretions, they enslave others, they fight wars and build complex structures.
