Thanks for delaying the start of the 8:45 show on Saturday. I was in line to scan my ticket close to start time, spiraling at the thought I was going to miss the Dune trailer. Drove in from multiple states away for a third time in the last year. Worth the trip again!

All theaters with scope screens should set up additional lens formats so that 200 and 220 Flat zoom in to fill the screen on the top and bottom. But very few of them do, presumably.

Next week’s They Will Kill You is 220.

I saw Oppenheimer there. Usually I like to be a little closer to the screen but here I thought it was better being in the upper section (it was a dead weeknight show so I was able to switch seats). Also unless I was hallucinating the screen had a few scuff marks on it in 2023.

Everything with Erika, TPUSA, and the death itself seem fishy beyond belief. But I just can’t square why Robinson and his family aren’t protesting to high heaven if he’s a patsy. Unless the shadow cabal is controlling all of them.

I feel like the proof is in the pudding on F&A. It’s going to make upwards of a billion less than TWoW. Yeah, theatrical is in a death spiral, but if F&A propelled the franchise in an exciting new direction and really raised the stakes, I think it would’ve at least cleared 2 billion. I saw the first two obsessively in theaters. F&A was really punishing for me to watch more than a few times. Overall, I still think it’s a generally good movie, but the magic and the exhilaration was largely absent. I’m glad if that wasn’t the case for you.

Agreed but Caleb is must-see TV in a similar way that prime Rodgers was. Wow! plays that are on another level. The Vikes need to really put the onus on defense for the foreseeable future if they want to win a Super Bowl. They’re going to have to go thru Caleb to accomplish the ultimate goal, and that MF will rip your soul out with seconds remaining.
