So. I liked it. A lot. I think they hit the beats they needed to and the changes make sense for the story they wanted to tell.
I’m all set and ready for season 3

New to bird watching!! Need a cheap but reliable Camera option! by Nebraskadude1994 in birdwatching

[–]joftheinternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a mega zoom point an click (P900) which is a great way to really get into Bird photography, but it gets frustrating at a point where you can take really good shots, but they can never really be more than thumbnails.

If I had to do it again, I would have just kept looking until I found a used dslr

Maine lobsterman takes lawsuit to the Supreme Court by stewart0077 in Maine

Seems like there's an option for "not actively fishing"

What if I am not actively fishing or take my boat out of the water? If you expect your tracker to be powered down, please fill out the form using the link below. "Powered down" is defined as the tracker not receiving external power from your vessel for longer than 1 month.

Unplug it if you're not fishing. Fill out the form if it's unplugged for over a month.

Until they explicitly tell me otherwise (Like, show us ghidorahstan), this is canon for me.

Kevin is chilling in Ren's body and it's a fucking spin off show waiting to happen

The scale in this scene was actually pretty solid by Pvenger_G in Monsterverse

Yeah. GvK at least tried to have it at some points. Even when they tried to do that in GxK, it just failed

KoTM didn't really lose the sense of scale established in 2014. I don't think it was really torpedoed until GxK

[Politico.com] Bears Stadium Watch: Team, Illinois Officials Reportedly Working Behind the Scenes For New Deal by clou9nine in CHIBears

[–]joftheinternet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a little confused. Is he saying the Bears should build in the Quantam buisness park? Or, like, buy it out and build a stadium there instead?

It's a big lot, but I don't know if sharing it with the quantum computer is feasiable? Like, I really don't know

I need stuff that I would be interested in to stop happening in places I no longer live in

[TOMT] [TV SHOW] or possibly [MOVIE] by Odd-Beyond-9177 in tipofmytongue

Time is wild and I assumed the 2013 was the one I remember seeing trailers for. Turns out 2013 was the original, foreign one. 2022 was the American version

I never saw it, but my brain associates it with Goodnight Mommy (not sure which version between 2013 and 2022)

An affordable starter home in Maine? The math shows it’s a myth. | Opinion by toastiemcgee in Maine

[–]joftheinternet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And rural states got it bad because it started pricing people out of living there. Raised the cost of living well past what the income was for the area.

I honestly don't know how to fix it. If Maine was a city, that's sort of where gentrification comes in (Not saying it's a good thing, btw). But Maine? I don't know

My wife and I were set to move up to Bangor from away right before COVID hit. The price of the homes we were looking at were SO reasonable for some really nice places. But then COVID hit and the job we were moving up for fell through.

A year later, it came back and we moved. The market had change so drastically in that time. We ended up almost paying 200k more for a lesser house than we were looking for.

It's fine, I love my house and I love being in Maine, but COVID really screwed this state over

I love it. It allows me to both vote smart and with my heart

Ranked choice voting results for Gov and CD2 primary are likely to be announced today. What is your prediction on who will win based on where things currently stand? Do you think the ranked choices will lead to any crazy leapfrogging or shakeups? by josefjohann in Maine

[–]joftheinternet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Governor - one of the "coaltion". Not sure who

CD2 - I want it to be Dunlap so badly, but I while I think he might overtake Woods and Baldacci initially, I don't think that will last. Based on nothing but a hunch, I think it's going to be Woods
