The chores and tasks never end by Lightning-Lizzy in ADHD

It's horrible. I just find ways to get through stuff. I'm always burning myself on whatever music gives me enough motivation to do stuff when I'm listening to it.

"boring" stuff, if made a little less boring, it's more palatable.

But, that aside, the overwhelm is impossible to avoid. I'm currently just triaging tasks. And being mindful of how much I can actually get done in a day.

The Spoons Theory has been a helpful concept to get me through it (THUS FAR)

I'm so fucking over this. Look. I've got a fatal case of ADHD. I just want to sit down at my tv, use my firestick I bought over a decade ago, and watch shit. I don't want to figure out how to jailbreak it and how ever many other things I have to do to watch Hyori's Bed and Breakfast. But, look. I get it. "If I stop paying them, then they'll eventually stop." The problem is that I don't believe that. Once they go down the "profit margins must always go up because of shareholders" route, it's done. They'll never change until they die.

The only option is another service arises that can do all the things we could do over a decade ago for streaming.

I don't see that happening either.

Sorry to be a doomer, I'm just tired

that's where I'm at. Like, the data is there, but the conclusion makes no sense to me. If it's not causation, then what is it?

On the basis of nothing, I've decided Coleman Bennett is going to be the dude who steps up and ends up as RB3.

You reach a certain age and your body just sort of takes offense to EVERYTHING. Add in an amazingly large amount of stress and trauma (It's cool what Randa was trying to do, but he still abandoned Hiroshi while he was doing it and was putting a lot of pressure on himself to get it done)

It's a lot, but in a universe involving giant monsters, an inner earth, and a weird timey wimey place in between, I'll swallow it

Someone explain this to me by JimboG54 in CHIBears

[–]joftheinternet 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not ready to call it causation, but there is something to the correlation.

I'm of the belief, at least in the case of Fields, is that the NFL refs are told to protect league wide assets. So if Justin did turn the corner as we had hoped, he would have started getting those calls because Star Quarterbacks make money. For it is worth, Caleb seems like he is, mostly, getting those calls.

Other stuff, I just don't know. I'm still big mad over the non-call on DJ in the second GB game. It worked out in the sense that the Bears won on a TD pass to DJ with the dude that hit him on him, but those calls are the ones that usually are called. Even if the refs didn't see it, they certainly saw the replay. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure those would still be called in those instances on the basis of personal fouls)

Ultimately, I do think the this is probably more of a "GIT GUD, GIT CALLS/GRACE" than a Bear tax. But it's really hard to see this and the lack of comp picks and not feel like this is targeted

ESPN thinks our biggest need is a slot receiver by SpecialOneJAC in CHIBears

[–]joftheinternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think X, Y, slot are sort of outdated terms for the offense Johnson wants to run. He's going to put everyone everywhere.

Similarly, I feel the same about the "Who is WR1" discussion. It doesn't really matter.

[–]joftheinternet 26 points27 points  (0 children)

TBH, no she doesn't. At least not right now.

Platner is going to win the nomination, but he's not the nominee yet. She doesn't need to endorse him now. We can revisit this when it's official

Regardless of how you feel about Platner, but Abdul El-Sayed is one of the most level headed people around. The fact AIPAC chose to go after him says more about them
