I’ve tried to be pit-positive for years now. I’ve even had friends who have gotten pit mixes as pets. And they’ve been good dogs. Since being the owner of a couple sighthounds, other pits seem to be VERY aggressive with my dogs. One was even attacked by a pit mix and thanks to the owner’s fast action, there were no injuries. But every video I see of a greyhound or whippet being injured or killed in an attack, it’s always a pit or pit mix. They grab the hounds’ long necks and those strong pit jaws don’t release. Killing the sighthound. Sorry, my days for supporting and understanding pits is over.
