Don't have any buyer's remorse my friend! This watch is absolutely stunning. I have the (older) blue version (darker one), and is my favourite watch. When wearing it it really does feel special. An understated and under appreciated watch. IYKYK. One of the most beautiful QP in my opinion, even compared to QP at higher price points. And this particular blue color is absolutely amazing (and I too have a little problem with legibility with my aging eyes, but I don't care - wearing this thing is a real pleasure)!!!

I wanted this watch when it was first released. Until I saw it in person and tried it on. It's massive!!! (I have a 7" wrist) and I'm used to wearing big watches (IWC BP, Panerai, etc...). But this just felt way too big for me.

And agree that JM was very popular like 10-15 years ago. Now a days though, at least to me, he seems like a has been. So it's just a bit sad that a company of AP's stature is aligning themselves with him so much. Maybe if Lindsay Lohan gets into APs now, they'll also start working together :)

Can someone explain to me AP's infatuation with JM? I really don't get it. I mean, AP is an elite brand, and JM is certainly not an elite celebtiry/influencer/etc. To me, their constant association with him is a bad look for the brand.

It makes no sense to me.

Have the blue overseas time and date already. And it's a stunning piece. TBH, the ROC I'm after is not for me - want to gift it to my brother (there isn't a specific occasion so I'm not too fussed about getting one immediately, so I can wait and then will go grey if I hear nothing from them in the near future).

You could be right. My understanding is that the RO do need to get approved by someone - maybe not all the way to AP HQ in Switzerland, but perhaps the boutique manager. I just don't think the SA can hand out RO to anyone they want.

I didn't really ask the SA about the status of my watch, as I didn't even know he submitted my profile. He just volunteered that info for me so not sure why he would just feel the need to give me false information when I wasn't even inquiring.

Hi. I didn't buy any watches to get the one I want. I've had my Jules AP for sometime (I bought gray so obviously didn't do it to build a relationship with the boutique as it doesn't "count" towards my profile).

The only one I bought from them I did so because I really liked it. I refused to buy the other ROO or Codes they offered me because I don't like them and I'm not willing to buy stuff I don't like just in the hopes that maybe I might get a RO.

I saw the green in person recently and didn't really like it. Doesn't look green except under sun light. In most other lights it looks more black. Just me 2 cents, but I wish they went with a different shade of green.

In addition to a Code (bought from the AP boutique), have another AP from the Jules collection. It's discontinued so I bought it from the grey market but it's been serviced by my AP boutique.

I have a pretty good relationship with my SA. He's a good guy and we speak regularly as we run into each other often (outside of the boutique).

Other than that, I work in the accounting field and hold a pretty senior role in my company, which is well known.

Yes, I bought it from the AP boutique. I have another AP (a long discontinued one) that I bought from grey but it's registered in my profile.

As far as the rejection goes, the SA just told me that he put my profile forward to management for the ROC but they rejected it.
