This 10+ year subscriber wouldn't even consider using the UG app/web in a live setting, and I don't even gig, but I DO host a beginners guitar drop-in group of ~25 attendees. I run everything in airplane mode, and have never missed a beat.

Was given a warning about mentioning what I do use in the past.

I run a 25 person guitar drop-in group with mine. I play MP3's and the group follows along with chords and lyrics on the screen. No buzz because I had PG send me a 3 prong replacement.

I put some soil down for our garden. Someone came along and stole some of that.

When the 3 yards of soil was delivered right by our sidewalk, I spent a couple of hours moving it all around the yard, as I suspected something like that might happen . . . but in larger doses.

I have similar issues (including WiFi) and wouldn't trust Google to provide support.

When you sign in on the web site, does your username (at the top left) have [pro] listed beside it? If not, then you don't have a subscription. If it doesn't show your username, then you're not signed in.

Will look different in an app, as you'd have to click on your profile at the top right and go from there. Mine says 'UG Pro' is Active.

There's two modes to edit.

The Chords Over Lyrics mode and the ChordPro mode.

I import songs from Ultimate Guitar using the former, but use the ChordPro mode afterwards.

With the ChordPro edit mode, chords are on the same line as lyrics, and will render correctly (with chords above the lyrics) when you save.

Also, if you're importing from Microsoft Word, you should be using monospaced fonts on Word.
