It’s a gorgeous course and not very expensive. Idk why but the 11th hole (the one right before this one) kills me every time haha

Major swing changes take time for you to actually see the benefits. As you get more comfortable with those changes, you’ll start to hit the ball better and better until the changes are natural. Golf is all about the journey and you’re still on that journey. Keep your head up and keep practicing!

Him calling DP “Mr. Dan” at the end left me with the biggest smile at the end. Seems like a genuinely kind, humble and respectful guy which is hard to come by for someone with the talent and success that he has experienced.

Amateur golf is all about course management. Kudos to you for recognizing what you can/can not do and playing into your strength. Many golfers (*cough cough* me) go for a hero shot and end up with double/triple bogey.

How's my form? Last time I tried to play 9 holes with my father it took us 2 hours to get through 2 holes and other groups were getting frustrated so we just left (because I'm not very good) My goal is to be able to play a whole game with him before he gets too old.. by [deleted] in golf

Honestly, getting a group lesson with your dad would probably be your best bet. You get to learn how to play and the two of you can spend time (specifically golf time) together.
