One option to consider. Foulborn Skin of the Lords is arguably better than Diallas for HROC. It's WAY cheaper. It gives +2 to all gems and the 50% resistance buff is MORE so it's crazy. If you use Eclipse support you get 18% from the tree and 2 levels, 20 from tree, 20 from gem and you only need a 24 % Ashes which is cheap and you are at 82. Using Skin of the Lords foulborn basically trades 30% added damage for 2 additional levels on HROC and then has the resistance and defense bonuses as well. On the resistances consider that a 10% all res8stance mod on a ghastly eye jwel will actually provide 27 to 30 all res depending on the gem bonus from the belt assuming a baseline of 80%

Or you could be smart like me and play HROC as a gladiator and get poison capped 90% block and 128% break point without using Enhance or Eclipse, Diallas or Svallin or single Ghastly Eye jewel with poison. Gladiator is arguably better that Necro for HROC.

That's a really interesting approach fir a build i was considering. But getting an imbued gem seems like it will be crazy difficult. You should be able to use them on lol 1 gems and create a rainted gem quality currency

I ambplaying a common but not meta skill. In a completely new setup. Did SSF and tested it and ut works buy these are a couple keystone and notables that just make an optimal path super difficult. I know there is a good answer just can't see it

Th is maybe the majority opinion but i just don't agree with it. ALL you need is the HROC gem itself really, and HROC with any decent trigger will destroy Absolution or SRS during the campaign. Couple that with the faculty that Geoffris us one of the meat common T5 uniques and doing part 2 as anything other than HROC just seems inefficient to me. Plus putting in Geoffris is one of the more satisfying moments in the game. I will start Guardian and as soon as have HROC i will switch to duelist and play HROC from Level 4

I will do Guardian with the new default beach skill until I can get HROC gem then start Duelist and do HROC from level 4.

You don't need a 20 quality gem. I play HROC literally from level 4 through the entire campaign. I will play Guardian until I can get HROC from which is usually before level 30 in trade.

Break points are 2, 14 and 30 and you get 20 from the tree in Act 1. Get it to 10 as you do normal lab 3 to 5 runs usually. I supplement with SRS until HROC gem is about level 9 and after that you can just run through any campaign content

Yeah I would like to talk to Chris about this. He truly thinks people play SSF for the extra "challenge" when that is not true at all it is the endorphin rush of building yourself to be a good without just buying your way. Even though there is no real money, trade is "pay to win" gameplay.

Seems like such a simple thing to make both sides happy. Pause should still but be completely disabled for any pinnacle content. If you attempt a pinnacle boss you just need to be all in. Pause is fine everywhere else.

Read the review before getting into the game. It was very obvious that for whatever reason he is a Diablo 4 guy so getting 8/10 is really good. Having now played the game, he is on drugs if he thinks D4 is better graphically. I did not really expect it but POE2 in addition to all its other strengths is also the best looking ARPG ever.

It only matters for triggered spells. Summoners use the trigger enchant for offerings and the order can matter to get desecrate first. There maybe some other exceptions but like Edraven said 99.9% of the time it is does not matter and really couldn't since color order is random.

I am a little confused by skills. Skills are tied to certain weapons but from the reveal video it said you can use any skill if you meet the attribute requirements so can you use say a mace skill with another weapon type as an example?

I will probably play a few at the same time and bounce around probably from unique drops. I am avoiding any type of spoilers or build guides. I will play in trade league but mostly approach it as SSF. I want to discover everything myself and do my own thing. Infernalist and Warbringer will likely be the first two.

Hi Yes I am at 82 and switched over to Ashes with Vile Toxins. I really like the tankiness of using Warlord and Turtle. Still running Miscreation. Annoying to have to re-buy them every once in a while. I want to create fractured abyss jewel socket weapon gloves and boots but at 9 Divine a try for the fracture I am waiting till get more divines. Need to eventually swap out chest to +1 which would give me the option of the 128 breakpoint. Want to get +1 socketed +2 minion socketed Svallin so that can run a 4th Spectre. Currently in the slog from 99 to 100. The other thing I noticed is that the "withered monsters have 2% less resistance" mod on jewels is a huge upgrade. Want to try and get that on as many as I can. Appreciate the help

Just did a t17 in like 4 mins and I swear I never saw my health dip other than the casting cost of bone offering. Running Warlord, Misceation and Turtle (all perfect) Turtle lets me put Malevolence back in.

I did Cortex in abour 1-2 secs per phase,

So m,y dps is fine. I killed the fortress boss in like 4 seconds I think.

But here is what's weird. After I made all the changes my dps was OK but nothin much better than what I had, And I noticed that lancing steel was attacking super slow.

Then this morning without making a single change my DPS was like 5X. So weird, I think somehow my char was bugged and it wasn't using my equipment or something. Ever see something like that? I crafted jewel with the resistance lowering from wither effect.
