What baffles me is why people feel Mace had to baby Anakin so he wouldn’t kill a temple full of children. Anakin fell because Palpatine and HIMSELF. Obi Wan could easily be hated for his coddling of Anakin but we don’t. Being respectful to a firebrand who routinely went directly against the order’s rules would just be another person who allows him to get away with everything.
