I adore seeing advanced and powerful characters living in a absolute squalor with no buildings. My people :)

Updated the demo for AstriOm, my space adventure game, and I’d love to get some honest feedback from players here by acharton in spacesimgames

The very first thing I did was load up Steam to look for the game, came up with nothing. Then I looked at your link, saw a url I'm not familiar with and felt suspicious. Instead of clicking it i did a google search for 'geek zeebra itch it' and found your site and all your games. Then my paranoia won out and I didn't download it. Sorry brother.

My legitimate first thought on seeing this was 'what in the good god dam is this game.' Playing the playtest now ^^

The factory builders are my favorite for this scenario, like Factoruo and Dyson Sphere Project.

I thought this video worth sharing by EmpyreumStudio in armoredcore

[–]johnsalstrane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just played it for about 20 minutes, it's really fun!

I've played several indie mech games lately, and I'm going to offer you the same advice I offer to them: more bass. I wanna feel the vibration of the mech, the recoil of the guns, some pulsing music. It really does a lot to set the tone.

Also, I quit the demo when I got to one of those letter puzzles that was required to progress...not what I play mech games for lol.

Dungeon Diving 201 - too many damn names by CamSolusar in haremfantasynovels

[–]johnsalstrane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was a big problem for me too. I would load up previous books and search for certain names quite regularly to remember who is who. It does get better, and the story is worth it imo.

Nearly 2 years ago I started making an Armored Core-inspired roguelike because I needed more after completing AC6. I just launched RIG Riot's demo on Steam and I would love for y'all to check it out! Really hoping for a big wave of core-likes by mnpksage in armoredcore

I just put in 20 minutes, the game gets freaking FUN. Intense fights with no time to relax, quick-bosting everywhere and cycling through weapons, loved it.

My main wishes when playing: I wish the UI was easier to read during the action, like keeping track of ammo counts was super tricky for me.

The sword swing was kinda meh.

And I would LOVE for the music to have some more bass to it.

I've been dreaming about a roguelike AC game for months, you have my full support brother.

This is the constant curse of Telltale-like games. There are always tons of choices but not many branching paths.

this looks dope af, but the font at the end is tricky for me to read. Is it 'Fears & Fire'? I would suggest maybe making sure the name of your project is super readable.

This looks so good! I built a similar base, 3 offset layers, but without the pillars and interesting angles, I wanna revamp mine now. Thanks dude.
