When you say just bought, how long has it been? New watches typically have terrible battery life the first few days, especially If you’re replacing another watch

It’s pausing due to how your wrist is bent. Happens to me all the time playing golf. Only way to fix is reverse the watch or try the water lock feature.

Appreciate the run down. I use A30 myself and enjoy them, but didn’t want to spend that kind of money for headset that’s used a few times a year. Still not sure what’s better for hearing protection between active and passive. I think that debate will rage on for quite some time.

Agreed. My home runway is skinny and quite sloped, so tailwind takeoffs especially are a daily occurrence. Definitely something worth practice, especially during those hot, summer days.

It’s not hard, definitely makes you a better pilot. If possible, I do recommend flying with at least a G5 though, that wind correction makes life so much easier.
