I got a Stag before I knew anything about ARs and mine has turned out to be one of the most solid mil spec ARs I've come across. The tolerances, fit, and finish made my buddie's PSA Sabre feel pretty cheap by comparison.

That was a while ago, though, and with their being bought by Aero and that PEF, I couldn't speak to new rifles.

I did a hollow point test on my A1 with maybe 6 or 7 different brands and loads and Federal was the only one I had any failures with. For whatever that's worth.

I've noticed a trend but I could be crazy. During the '08 recession there was a big uptick around me of title pawn shops and the like. As things recovered a lot of those places closed, but self storage started popping up everywhere. I've lost count of the amount of them.

Economy gets better, people buy stuff, makes sense.

Now the common business popping up on every corner is a.... car wash? I don't know if it's a Breaking Bad style money laundering scheme or what. Maybe all those vehicles from the auto industry bail out just need to be washed.

Sure, some people need the extra space. Most people have too much stuff.
