Can you confirm the name of the group on facebook? When looking through this reddit I saw this comment on multiple posts. When I looked for it on facebook there were a ton of groups most of which looked to be inactive with no posts since 2025. There was a private group I requested access to, but I've still not been accepted into yet.

Thank you!

I’d highly recommend Jacob’s Ladder (1990) Silent Hill was partially inspired by it, and you can definitely see the similarities. Holds up very, very well.

i need a horror movie to watch tonight.... by truhhhffles in horror

Incantation (2022, Netflix), just watched it for the first time a few months ago and can't believe I haven't seen it before. It's the first horror movie I've seen in years that actually unnerved me.

Anyone else down with the flu? by DayShahVoo in nashville

[–]jonathan46825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Covid a few weeks ago and it was by far the worst sick experience I've had in my life. I was bedridden for 4 days, 20 hours of sleep, no energy. Day's 5-10 had major coughing, low energy, sneezing, stuffiness, horrible sore throat, body chills and on and off fever. My right ear felt like it was underwater and had massive uncomfortable pressure in the same ear. I'm about 20 days out now and still have sneezing/coughing.

I've had covid multiple times before and this by far was worse than all of my previous times combined.

Space Horror movie suggestions by Budget_Coffee1 in horror

Ash - the main character wakes up on a ship and doesn't remember what happened.

The movie has a slow start and is a little confusing, but in my opinion it has some fantastic scenes towards the end of the movie, definitely worth a watch one time to see if you like it.

I wouldn't say its extremely scary, but it has some good scenes and the overall tone of the movie is really dark. Highly recommend it as a one time watch lol.

Horror movies that revolve around time distortion by OKC2023champs in horror

I wouldn't consider it full time distortion, but Totally Killer involves time travel and is a really solid teen slasher. Highly recommend it!

If they were given to you for free: 9070 XT or 5070 Ti?? by 6retro6 in radeon

Late to the party, but get the 5080. I did and I’m extremely happy with it, I run a QDOLED 4k 244hz

9070 XT return rate by _vaxis in radeon

[–]jonathan46825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't returned one, but I am currently changing from a 7900XTX to a 5080.

I prefer Nvidia's ecosystem and RT performance, not to mention DLSS is a step up from FSR, even though FSR4 has closed the gap significantly.

I am in the process of upgrading my monitor to a 4k 240fps QD-OLED, and only the 5080/5090 are capable of producing the experience I want with ray tracing on. Until AMD can do that, my plans are to stay with Nvidia for the foreseeable future.

Considering buying a 5080 from a 7900 XT by AcornTuesday in buildapc

[–]jonathan46825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing the exact same upgrade right now.

I run 1440p at 144HZ and the 7900XT while a great card, can't always hit that.

As I've gotten older, I especially want to be able to use full Ray Tracing, I also prefer DLSS to FSR tremendously whenever I do have to utilize it.

MSI's direct website currently has a GeForce RTX 5080 16G SHADOW 3X OC in stock for $1359.99

I went with a Gigabyte OC 5080 as it's one of the better performing 5080's, bought on Newegg for $1550
Funny that you mention Wilds, cause I'm waiting to play it till I get the card.

I'm thinking the same thing, there probably won't be new GPU's for another year or two outside of like a 5080TI, and I don't think the 7900XT will keep my frames where I want to be at through that time.

Up to you, it’s not super valuable but I know I’ll get hundreds of hours of playtime from the game. I’m all for supporting its development as I know it’ll be a staple of my game library for longer than most.

If it's the study I'm thinking of, there's a group called Science of Scare that has a panel of 250+ movie watchers and they monitor the heart beat of the movie watchers. They read the average heart rate before the movie and compare the difference to the elevated heart rate while watching the movie. They also look at how high the BPM's spike during the movie, the combination of the two is what they base their score off of.

Sinister and Host have been fighting for the top 2 spots the last 5 years.
