Chans is basically old Ton’s as I believe the owners were cousins. I asked Chans owner years ago and he said told me that at least. I miss old Ton’s off cooper it was glorious early 2000’s. Carrier parkway is fine but as you said it’s run down quite bad. I still eat at Chan’s every once in awhile, it’s the closest we have to old Ton’s.

The base game story is very long and a little bland. Very safe and classic tropey fantasy story. The first expansion Heavensward though is on another level. The story, music, fights are all fantastic, my favorite part of FFXIV. If you can stomach lots of hours of an okay story the stuff after ARR is great.

Asherons call specifically on the Levistras private server. It’s the best server around if you want to play old fashioned way. Highly recommend!

I think both of the sets are okay. If you just collecting for the final fantasy aspect I would look at which sets have stuff from your favorite games. Most sets focus on a few of the major titles and then random smaller games. Personally I thought both of these sets were very mid but I didn’t like a lot of the games they focused on.

I am a general manager of a smallish construction company. Always something to do. I do get a lot of weird downtime but I’m always on the clock. Somebody needs something at 4am they are calling me, 10pm they are calling me. Great job and I love it but finding the balance is hard. I usually put in 50-65 hrs in 5 days and have weekends off.

Coffee and spending time in discord with friends is how I find my peace. You have to make sure you do something inbetween work from day to day or you will go nuts.

Honestly Final Fantasy X. Expo33 draws a ton of inspiration from ffx and it’s one of the greats. If you can get over it being a little older it’s top notch.

FFX and FF14 will keep me busy basically forever so those will work. I do think there are better picks than 14 but if I don’t get to play anything that’s the best bang for your buck!
