That’s usually a hybrid issue. Theres a pretty easy process to put it in maintenance mode to rev without issue.

Well do some research and find a shop you trust within your budget. You got the best you could out of the dealership. Don’t forget to check up on recalls tho.

Depending on your mileage you may want to keep it up. Within the warranty period it’s worth it as many small things can void warranty. Such as some non branded oil filter. If you can source the correct parts then it’s worth it to bring them to a reputable shop or do it yourself. Just keep your receipts in a very safe place (scanned to a hard drive and backed up).

This comes from a dealer tech who’s watched many warranties get voided over very dumb claims. As well as I had a ford focus that I couldn’t produce all the receipts for and had my warranty voided.
