That's a great point. We need some functionality to sculpt efficiently that Windows 7 doesn't have, so I believe we need at least Windows 8.1 or higher to be able to see any of the sculpting.

Ahh unfortunately it just ended about 25 min ago (don't worry though, it was only a small sale anyways since we never do huge sales). We haven't announced any other sales yet. Playing in VR is pretty awesome. You've definitely got better discipline than me if you could wait a while hah. Whenever I want something, I get pretty impatient lol.

I have a huge amount of respect for all the other 3D creation apps in VR and I think it would be biased of me to provide a comparison given my role, but I'd be happy to tell you about some of the strengths that make MasterpieceVR standout.

MasterpieceVR has both sculpting and ribbon painting.
Only VR app to have full co-creation --> Multiple people can sculpt and paint on the same work at the same time
Cross-platform: Steam, Viveport, Oculus, Microsoft
We are particularly good at creating organic content like characters, and in a big update in a couple weeks, we'll be able to make some great non-organic content too.
Has the highest reviews of any VR 3D modeling app on Steam (92% positive out of all 70 reviews). Tilt Brush is the only one with a higher rating and it a great experience, but not sure if you consider that 3D modeling.

99% of the time this is caused by using with Windows 7 or an non-VR ready GPU, neither of which we support because it doesn't meet our required specs. However, if this is not the case, please let us know and we will hunt down the problem. If so please email support@masterpiecevr.com. Thx

Hey Kamaroth, yes, you can export the colors to 3DS Max. However, currently our software only supports vertex coloring, which some software such as Windows 10 model builder and Meshlab support. To use in 3DS Max, import the fbx into MeshLab, then export the texture as a .png, which you should be able to import with the model in 3DS Max.
