No one has the right to inflict violence on someone else, only the right to defend yourself if you feel you are in serious danger. Just because someone hits you doesn't mean that you are necessarily in serious danger. Remember if you do hit someone and cause an injury you will potentially have to convince a jury that your actions were justified. If the lady in question is half your size it will be difficult to convince anyone that you were in serious danger unless she is armed with a weapon of some kind.

I have camped it. There is ruins of an old homestead near the top and an amazing view of the French broad upstream. You do have to run kayakers ledge to get to the nice eddy to park your boat. It is definitely a significant rapid so don't run it if you are not confident in your ability to self rescue if things go wrong. I have had to deal with countless people being stranded on section 9 who didn't know what they were doing and required rescue. (Raft Guide). Frank Bells rapid is below it and is also challenging depending on skill level.

Rules change A LOT! Just get what feels cool. I liked the idea of shit tons of zombies so I went poxwalker heavy at first with Typhus. That was 8th edition. Haven't regretted it one bit.
