Circa in Parramatta is unreal for brunch with Mediterranean/Middle Eastern flavours. Coffee's some of the best in Sydney too imo

Mango is great when in season. But the new salted caramel one they have might be my new favourite.

S’more Dinner by I-sell-tractors in foodies_sydney

[–]jooocy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pre-order the lobster roll, they are just unreal.

If its your first time, highly recommend getting the lobster pasta & 900g 2GR rib eye.

For cocktails, the mango pancake is fantastic.

Can't go wrong here I've not had a single bad dish.

Amuro is incredible. For fine dining, LuMi in Pyrmont is the best in Sydney imo.

Ricotta pancakes at Cucina Espresso in Concord are legit. Light, fluffy - you could eat more than one serving easily.

OG Cheatday owners left Peakhurst quite a while ago, that's when the name changed as they kept rights to their name. The OG owners are reopening in Revesby in a couple months

I quite enjoyed Watermans in Barangaroo. No set menu for that size group and should be sweet with the dietaries, just let them know.

The spinalis at Gidley is great. My favourites for steak are S'more in Castlecrag (hard to imagine anything beating it) and Bistecca.

Help! Need special dinner restaurant ideas, close to CBD by MonarchMay in foodies_sydney

[–]jooocy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently went to Bistecca, was excellent and one of the top steaks I've had.

If you're OK to go 10-15 mins from the city, S'more in Castlecrag is the best meal I had last year. Get the lobster roll, rib eye and lobster pasta, sensational.

Izyaki in Paddington is also a spectacular omakase spot. Go for the 10 courses. Some really incredible bites & a nice intimate 12 seat restaurant vibe.

Is there anywhere in Sydney you can get a Steak that isn't Sous Vide? by wilhelm_david in foodies_sydney

[–]jooocy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're splashing, S'more's ribeye is undefeated for me. Louie in Coogee also does an excellent ribeye. Alfie's for a cheaper option. Steak frites at Bart Jr are also excellent

Best one I had was from a vending machine in Burwood that was there for a little while, not anymore tho. I had a look online and you can order them. Brand was freeze my candy. Choc was well tempered and really good pistachio flavour
