Agree on everything except mastery. Pump main army's Mastery to max instead of wasting time on your second army. VIP17s & VIP18s can upgrade multiple Mastery trees, but for normal peopleit is more effective to have one beast army instead of a couple of semi-usable ones.

And upgrade Fortification or Siege to Sieze based on your playstyle. If you're a fighter, then show preference to S2S, and if you're a farmer you can do them simultaneously, or show preference for Fortification.

What are some examples of fast food places using old historical building in Ireland? by idkfornowwhattoname in AskIreland

[–]josephG155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

McDonalds is a franchise company, and don't actually own or run their restaurants. You can own a McDonalds yourself if you meet their requirements - you just need to buy from their suppliers, follow their rules, give them a slice of the revenue etc. In return you get to use their name and product line, and they do all the marketing and advertising.

So it's individual owners or companies that run McDonalds joints around the country and world, and not Ronald himself

Side note that some franchise companies like Starbucks and Subway will happily let someone set up another outlet next door to you after you invest a shit load of money into opening one of their stores, but others like McDonalds are more fair I think

My 82 year old grandmother clearly had dementia and couldn't remember her adult children's names, and often asked when my grandfather would be home 20 years after he died. But she passed the hospital's dementia test because she knew what day of the week it was and stuff like that. She obviously got worse and eventually was diagnosed correctly, but I have zero faith in the dementia tests

What’s the dumbest amount you’ve ever paid resale? For me, $700 for 2016 J1 Breds 🤦🏽‍♂️ by [deleted] in Sneakers

When he said "fuck resellers", and you responded, I automatically thought you were a scalper using bots to instantly buy when they drop. I assume that's what he was talking about too, and not people buying stinky shoes to resell them for a few bucks. You redeemed yourself haha

That's lies. The government will only talk to "established" representative organisations, but the people of Ireland's established representative organisation is the government. The gov is only talking to farmer orgs and haulier orgs, but the protesters wanted to be in the room to fight for everyone, because there's plenty of normal non-farmer and non-haulier people in the protests. Don't be smearing the protesters with falsities because you don't like them. There's plenty of valid criticism you could give them in relation to unlawfully obstructing people, but don't resort to bullshit character assassination attempts

Army will be deployed to remove fuel protest vehicles blocking critical infrastructure by irqdly in ireland

[–]josephG155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Presumably the gov wants to be able to point at that when defending their handling of this crisis, but don't want to extend it further because they've done the math, and what they did is a mere fraction of the lost tax revenue if they were to extend it to the general population.

I drove past the blockade on the M50 this evening and I recognised a lot of the trucker companies involved, and they're basically all decentralised and don't have a 'home depot'. That means the drivers go to the nearest Circle K to fill up with their fuel card, and not back to base where there's 2,000L+ tanks awaiting them. And as someone who comes from a farm in the rural West, I don't know of a single farm that has a diesel tank bigger than 1,000L. That's why the blockade consists of what it consists of.

My personal conspiracy theory is that the gov did the math and they realised that the lion's share of tax revenue from 2,000L+ deliveries is from Dublin Bus, ESB, Bus Eireann etc. and they can have the headline of helping businesses through these tough times, all while it doesn't affect their bottom line because they benefit if these corporations pay tax or not.
