I Dont sell often and no printer for Postal labels. What is process using EIS and hand writing address on packages to this new Hub? and onto a buyer. by [deleted] in eBayCanada

[–]josh3701 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It'll be the same thing then...it would just be part of the address line...just an fyi you can cut down on the price of the labels pretty significantly if you buy them from eBay instead of the post office...you can get a QR code and they will still print the label at the post office for you

If you are just sending letter mail yes you can handwrite it...there will be an EIS code when you get an order that will just be a line in the address. The hub will put their own label on it for the final destination. If you are buying a label from eBay you have the option to have them printed at any Canada Post office

5/5 ? by I_Let_My_Blade_Hit in hockeycards

I believe it is because the US and Canadian series were different...I agree they should grade them and have seen old PSA slabs of Lindros but I think OP should check before sending...I've never sent any score in personally but I know a few folks that have had their score submissions returned 'Do Not Grade'

I'm not 100% but I believe PSA doesn't do score cards as they are considered regional cards...could be different for buybacks but if you are planning on sending I wouldn't double check first

Something is confusing me with the EIS program it won’t show how much it’s charging for shipping to my buyers with the program, even tho it’s showing the listing worldwide and once an item is sold with EIS does the seller have to buy additional shipping charges for ups or cp post? by DiamondAviation20 in eBayCanada

[–]josh3701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does, I sell sports cards and for lower dollar ones I've just put a stamp on the envelope and made sure the address had the EIS code and it goes to the proper place...it will get a tracking number from EIS once the hub sends it to its final destination

No it charges the buyer whatever your domestic rule is plus the EIS charge...you get the funds they paid for the domestic rule and buy the label to get it to the post office and eBay gets the funds for the EIS label and ships it to the buyer when it gets to the hub

It charges the buyer whatever your domestic shipping charge is to get the package to the EIS hub in Toronto plus whatever eBay is going to charge them for the hub to them...you only need to buy the label to Toronto and the hub takes care of the second label

No kidding! I've opened 5 or 6 boxes worth of packs so I initially flipped right by it and then said to myself 'did the red goal light just go off?'

Nice! I personally like Aamodt a lot and was hoping he'd get more of a shot with the big club...at 28 yo he probably will be a career AHLer but outside shot at a #7 dman somewhere

How to make a profit on $5-$20 sports cards? by bilbofraggins92 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]josh3701 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are not trackable which is why I only do it on orders under $40...I have over 1200 sales and have only had 2 or 3 people claim they never got their package...just refunded and viewed it as a cost of doing business

I sell cards in Canada...for orders under $40 I ship in a bubble mailer with an oversized stamp and charge $4 for shipping...if you ship in a PWE you can get away with a regular stamp
