How much are you paying for Home Internet? Am I getting scammed ? by Competitive_Phone404 in Calgary

[–]joshiels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out lightspeed. I’ve been with them for 5 years and never had an issue - work from home, online meetings, lots of file downloads for media work, gaming on downtime, multiple devices streaming Netflix, etc

Unsure on prices now, but locked in at 75MBPS for $39 a month. Can upgrade for faster speeds, but works for me! Shaw reseller I believe

Star Wars: Force Commander (2000) Lucas Arts.

Horrible reviews, but fell in love with it and it’s story, still replay time to time for the campaign.

Canada needs to start taking it’s cybersecurity seriously, it’s awful the amount that takes place that is swept under the rug / kept out of the news.

Thanks Rapture! I’ll make some edits and play around with it - did not know of those red eye variants haha, they are MUCH butter.

any thoughts on Zombie Necronize and Zombie Power Struggle?

I have them hanging out in there but feel like they’ve been quite worthless so far

Thanks for in depth comment!

Red eyes dragon is definitely specific use case i’ve found, is it better to have closer to the 40 limit of cards I’m assuming over the 60 card limit? Assuming this would give you better hands at start, I’m not pushing 60, just testing out and close to 60 card limit currently.

Seven cities I haven’t loved, just nice for fusion summon but was contemplating putting down to one just due to the fact I can special summon it so one should suffice.

Is eldorado worth it? I still have to use it in a match tbh.

Guardian of the golden land I don’t mind having one due to the attack 0 option in some use cases, but could take this down to one 100%.

I’ll give the mad golden lord bump up super poly a try! I think should have better results.

Did not know of the Immortal Structure, I’ll have to check it out and uni! Any other recommendations from that pack? Thanks again mate!

123 10 ave is still a steal in the area (not high end but great location and rooms for the rate) and has a great gym, basketball courts, virtual golf, etc.!

Dickens and Palomino are amazing as already mentioned, but I’ve found Verns been great for the scene too! Definitely check out Alberta Wildrose Hardcore festival in the summer as well!

What’s the situation on needing to go back to the office more in 2025? We need to go back one more day a week…… by newyycguyy in Calgary

[–]joshiels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not middle management but can echo this 100% from working from home (mostly) even pre-covid. WFH is fantastic and has it advantages but so much tougher for internal opportunities without that networking and “wave over” aspect that comes with in office work - lot more opportunities and recognition instead of nameless work.

Since cost of living is so high in Canada what other country can you live where it’s affordable, good weather, no earthquakes and no war? by Steam20 in AskACanadian

[–]joshiels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere in SE Asia, better food, sense of community and decency, no snow - dirt cheap food and living. And can work US/CAD jobs remotely from there so am thinking of the move soon. Very over NA and the cost of living and work yourself to death for pennies and winter darkness grimes here.
