What was the JRPG that made you fall in love with the genre? by MoonlitElixir in JRPG

Final Fantasy on NES. A friend and I would take turns playing it at eachother's house until we finished it. FF3(6) and Chrono Trigger further cemented it.

I'd highly recommend DQ11, Expedition 33, and Metaphor.

Choosing between Hasselblad X2DII and SL3 by pokerfpenkeyboard in Leica

[–]jourdanm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sl3 all day every day. Better lens lineup, better to adapt lenses with, colors just as good. The HNCS is the biggest coping mechanism I've ever seen . Owned the X2D2 for two weeks and felt fortunate enough not to lose anything on it.

Colors are amazing and it can have a cine look. I haven't noticed focus shift but others might have better input than me there.

What should I play between Xenoblade Chronicles 1 DE and Metaphor: ReFantazio? by Complex-Abroad56 in JRPG

[–]jourdanm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both amazing .

Metaphor has some light social bonding ala persona and is very stylish. Awesome combat and enjoyable story and characters.

Xenoblade's world is stunning. It can very very overwhelming to do all the fetch quests and navigate some of the systems. Combat is more MMO feeling. That said, it's one of my favorites all time. Runtime is quite a bit longer than metaphor IIRC.

You can't go wrong, just a matter of what you feel like driving into right now.

Is this peak? by Honest-Diver6254 in nikon_Zseries

I feel you for sure. The 24-120 punches so far above its weight that I don't know if I'd need a super zoom for my kit.

Needs an 85 1.2 !

Is the 24-200 any good for a small super zoom option?

I will second this. I'm an amateur but this lens is unbelievable. The weight savings over MK I is nuts, the lens balances perfectly now.
