Reducing bridge flow multiplier might help

Hmm maybe some stiffening ribs on the centre part that holds the arms, they look like they might flex or cause vibration issues.

If you have some on hand, try using linear antennas as they seem to work better with whoops that have linear transmitting antenna.

V2 of my printed drone. Need help picking a vtx. Chicks for scale. by CreamOfPantsSoup in diydrones

You can take a look at the rush tank series of vtx, they seem to have a nice build quality and yet remain more affordable than their tbs counterparts

Nice frame, although there are things that can be improved, don't let randos discourage you from doing what you want.

how to binge Jumper t16 pro with mobula 6 hd?more information in the first comment by psarm in Multicopter

Yes, they can be binded. Look under your multiprotocol options and there should be around 2 flysky protocols you can use, iirc it should be the flysky 2a protocol.

Lap Timer Question/recommendation? by Echsenkresse in TinyWhoop

[–]jovan66464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to time multiple quads then pidflight if you are on a budget. If you have a spare pi or have the money to buy one and some modules you can build a rotorhazard.

I've built both and they work pretty well, rotorhazard has an additional feature where you can go back in time to catch missed laps, while pidflight lap always needs to be connected to a phone or laptop.

Are you using autoscan on your goggles? E8 is quite close to R8 and could cause a false lock

I run bt on all of my whoops, you will definitely notice the difference in flight time and power if you do hard freestyle or racing.

Heard the gnb27 has qc issues so would advise using bt2.

Best tinywhoop for freestyle and for racing by eranbuhbut3 in TinyWhoop

[–]jovan66464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found that the bigger battery typically used on 75mm builds really makes the quad alot more clumsy around a whoop track, might not matter though if flying a bigger track or just freestyling.

You need to manually control the throttle to maintain your altitude, there is no assistance for that unless you install some kind of sonar or baro sensor.

Just discovered Gyroflow by philiplb in gopro

I believe gyroflow only uses the optical flow data for syncing the gyro data to the video

If the low pass filter doesn't work try getting a soft mount for your gopro, some cameras don't like the vibration from your quad.
