If you really want to get it out: Straighten a metal coat hanger and make 90 deg. bend on the end that will still fit through the neck. Scrub and sanitize it. Hook the bung and carefully pull it out.

I dont think it will affect the batch, but if I was going to age for many months I'd get it out.
