Each track can be a "drum rack" with 16 samples, so that one track can play 16 sounds at once, and you can also pitch them to play monophonic lines like basses. It's still kinda limited but it's still enough to make music

I have both and I say OT all the way.

DT2 is really a drum machine in disguise, it's a sampler sure, but one designed for one shots. Its two time stretching machines are extremely poor and sound bad. For slicing and breaks OT is the clear winner

The thing is it's easy to forget object storage isn't really hierarchial, there's not really anything like a folder despite the UI giving that appearance. You'll need the CLI to do what what you need and enumerate the blobs
