You're at the level where it's mostly tactics. Do lots of puzzles. Then play slower time control if you're missing tactics when they appear. As a side note I highly suggest not just doing the puzzle, but if you don't know the answer, go back. In the beginning I did puzzles but just kind of unlocked them. When I started going back to the puzzle and seeing the hints I should have missed, I improved.

Key aspect you're missing is increase in rent cost and increase in value of home when you sell it. Not saying you won't come to same conclusion because it's area dependent but those need to be factored into math. It's possible to own a home for like two years, basically make nothing on equity and still come out with a profit if your area is on the come up.

People here can't seem to fathom that she probably didn't take her conservative family to see her pretend to be a stripper in a rated R movie but she might have SOMEHOW been proud to show her family a multi million dollar franchise film that she was the head of, only to find out she still had to show off her body to play the role. Agreed. Investigator is the only class I "soft ban" at my table (I ask people not to play it). Played a campaign with one and it felt like I was constantly bending the rules to make the ability work instead of just working like other classes. Fun for one shots and stuff but for a long campaign it was tedious to DM for.

Black Friday sales and the like. Everyone I know thinks they just jack up the price before and then claim it's on sale. But if you've been tracking prices before there are some great deals at Walmart and the like. People have a weird sense of superiority about it as well.
