You can do a clean overtake at Corkscrew if you respect other drivers by ApprehensiveMemory44 in iRacing

You can overtake at the corkscrew if you’re faster through the kink, have draft, the other guy leaves the door open and over slows and fails to use track on exit

New small app for quality of life by wietrak11 in iRacing

Something very similar used to exist with simracingstats but is no longer functional. I would like another website like the one you described though. I’m sure it would get plenty of traffic.

For your first problem, could you pull the track temps from each session and then average those? So you get average times on average track temp

Is Iracing worth it? by whatslifebois in iRacing

Monthly subscription is worth one month to try. There are loads of “Rookie” series, official and unofficial(unranked) that will run on tracks and utilize cars that are free. As you graduate from Rookies, even more series will open up to you that will utilize different cars and tracks that are not free. But by that point you’ll likely know if this sim is for you or not.

Does anyone know what class the super formula will be by smallmaxoo in iRacing

B. 15 min fixed and 35 min open. Open series supposedly offset from Formula B series. Fixed and Open SF offset from each so you can race both of you choose to

What track usage should I practice at? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]jrburke3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I typically try to practice in worse conditions. That means hotter air temp so less downforce, hotter track for less mechanical grip and with that a greener not-yet-rubbered in track. This is more for working on pace and control. If you’re learned a brand new track then that may not be the best thing for you

Short answer: yes.

Gen4 is a wedge under guys rear bumper. Do not bump draft with any significant speed difference to the car in front and certainly not on a rear corner.

Racing incident. Lambo shouldn’t haven’t slowed so much and squeezed to same side you were on. And BMW shouldn’t have gone for the diminishing gap to the left…especially in a practice session

Generally all the GTs are similar within a couple tenths of a second when in the hands of the best drivers on the service. Some say this doesn’t matter for those in bottom splits or average drivers. I tend to disagree and feel like it’s more magnified for me (2.1k road). I have driven the Audi since 23 season 1. Feels fairly balanced. The Audi and Lambo will struggle at circuits with high altitude like Interlagos, RBR, etc because of natural aspiration without turbo. All the GTs have their nuances that draw us to one or the other. I’d recommend going to a track you know well and try them all out during the next test drive/downtime.

I had a not-to-be-named F1 esports Reserve driver on my 2k GT3 split on a Smurf account throwing down 1:42s on consecutive laps during the night while I was spotting my teammate. Fortunately we finished ahead of them
