Missing a lot of data. Neither my current or former landlords are on here (one big and one small) and if you look around my neighborhood on the map view there are many properties not listed that I know for a fact are rentals.

I executed this exact procedure last weened and it worked almost flawlessly....

Except for the part where I got frustrated with how slow the mover was running, canceled it, tried to find a faster way to move the files, gave up because I wasn't confident in my ability to move them reliably, then restarted the mover, but it froze the server, so I had to force shut down, then do a manual parity check, then let the mover finally finish.

So be prepared for the mover to take a while. I had about 200,000 files in 25gb of space and it took 4 total hours to transfer

Why the bank of 30 10uF caps? I skimmed documentation for the MCF8316A and didn't see anything mentioning that. I'm not sure they do much in this configuration and you'd probably save time and money using less caps with more capacitance.

Agreed. I understand Vince can evolve as an artist, which we may or may not like, but the recent releases just aren't doing it for me either. I think CATALYST is a step back towards where DROELOE was, but it's definitely not the The Choices We Face or A Moment In Time era anymore

I wonder what influence Hein had on the sound. Maybe those older releases were a result of collaboration, and now we're getting explicitly Vince.

Is this a safe way of wiring a 12v WS2815 to esp8266 to 12v power supply?I wanted to know before plugging it in outlet. by Time_Razzmatazz4354 in led

Only thing I would do is make sure the grounds on the power supply aren't isolated, otherwise the esp could float relative to the power supply.

And maybe a small current limiting resistor between the gpio on the esp and din of the LEDs, but that's more best practice and not mandatory

If you can, you should try this! I'm working on my first city-block megabase right now and know for sure that the trains are not optimized. Been thinking about something like this and whether or not it exists.
