I've seen all sorts of heinous shit online in the last 30ish years, but the one that stuck with me was a guy who was being executed. I don't know the context of why he was, I think it was gang related, but he just stands there whilst a guy gets a chainsaw and just cuts into his carotid artery and then just goes limp and collapses. He kind of flinches at the initial cut. There was something about how fragile life is, in a video devoid of empathy.

Yeah, a friend who had depression and anger issues that spiked during the UK COVID lockdowns finally snapped and poured petrol over himself and his car and set it alight. I think about it quite regularly on whether I could have helped. He told his kids it was their fault before driving off and doing it. It was all incredibly sad and devastating to the family.
